TRIVISTHA , comming soon :)

I will have my exhibition together with my hubby, and my friend Pritha Fitria Natasha Bekti. 

The name of the exhibition is TRIVISTHA, it will be opened at 23rd May 2010 at Ruang Depan S14 - Jalan Sosiologi No.14 Cigadung- Bandung. And it will be started @4.00 pm.

Theme for this exhibition is The Cycle of Life. We try to respond the form of the space (gallery), and have a collaboration with different medium. 

I make site-specific cut polyfoam installations, outline drawings in both two and three dimensions that blur the line between actual, illusionistic and imagined space. 

My process is very intuitive, based on spontaneous decisions in the moment. I begin by making outlines drawings directly on polyfoam. Then i cut out selected areas. I create on site by trial and error, with chance and control. Existing only for the length of the exhibition.

Vintage Inspiration

I always love vintage stuff... 

and always love simple colour : black and white.

i found an interesting website that sell vintage clothing and dresses, and these are the black and white clothes. what i love from these clothes are their pattern. Simplicity shown, but my react is: nice silhouette! :)

This one is 80's CHLOE blouse with dramatic 30s styling. All silk with wide capelet collar draped asymetrically across front, buttoning to left of center at rounded neckline. Buttons up beneath wide collar. Pouf sleeves end in wide cuff. No flaws.... love this one :)

This one is iconic "Gibson Girl" silhouette white cotton and lace dress. From the Spencer Community Theatre. No stains, solid wearable condition. And... wow! this one made before 1920s. love white! at the first rank! hihihi :D
